Talents

Talents are Sephiria's permanent character upgrades: 7 tracks, each leveled with talent points from the talent panel in town. One point buys one level, every talent caps at level 20, and levels 5, 10 and 20 each add a fixed perk on top of the per-level stat. Respeccing is free; the only restriction is that points cannot be changed while exploring.

Earning talent points

Every save starts with 5 points, and the pool tops out at 50. The destiny tree sells 5 Talent Point inscriptions with 5 levels each, 25 points in total for 42 sapphires. The rest comes from hard mode: clears award 1 point at difficulty 3 and every third step up to 30, then 2 at 35, 3 at 40, 5 at 50, for 20 more. Only one unclaimed reward is granted per clear, so the hard mode points arrive one clear at a time.

Maxing all 7 talents would take 140 points, so a full pool covers barely a third of the grid. The Lv5/10/20 perks decide where points go long before the per-level stats do.

Wishing Fountain capacity

The Wishing Fountain stores artifacts in town and hands them back at the start of the next run. Capacity starts at 4 once the fountain inscription is bought, and every stored item costs capacity by rarity: Common 3, Uncommon 4, Rare 5, Legend 6. Willpower raises the cap to 5 at Lv5 and 9 at Lv20, and the Deer costume adds 3 more for a maximum of 12: enough for two Legend artifacts at once, or a Rare plus an Uncommon with room for a Common.

One warning from the game itself: items banked beyond the base capacity are removed if Willpower's level later drops below 20, so respec before you bank, not after.

Tablet Imprinting and [Unique] stacking

Tablet Imprinting, the Survival Lv20 perk, consumes a tablet from your inventory and etches its boost onto that inventory slot for the rest of the run; the slot keeps the bonus with no tablet in it. The trade is steep, since taking the perk also removes 12 inventory slots.

[Unique] stacking, the Wisdom Lv10 perk, forces a [Unique] effect onto every artifact. Duplicates stay in the reward pool, and picking one up merges it into the copy you hold, raising its level and its combo count.

In the files

The game files hold an eighth talent, Greed, with a complete data record (+1% Leaf and +1% EXP drop per level) but no unlock path, plus six that exist only as names: Glacier, Ignite, Tempest, Pledge, Stratagem and Wittiness. None of them can currently be obtained. The farm's produce abilities also call themselves talents in their level-up message; those are a separate system with their own tiers.
